Ingredients
- Pizza dough - 250 grams
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Lemongrass - 1 stalk, finely chopped
- Ground black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ground beef (kosher) - 200 grams
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 150 grams
- Fresh cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Fresh mint - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Chili sauce (sriracha) - 1 tablespoon
- Carrot, julienned - 1 small
- Vietnamese pickled daikon and carrots - 1/4 cup
- Lime - 1, cut into wedges
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, chopped lemongrass, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the ground beef to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 30 cm in diameter.
- Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the marinated ground beef evenly over the pizza dough.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the beef.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a minute.
- Top the pizza with fresh cilantro, mint, julienned carrots, and pickled daikon and carrots.
- Drizzle with chili sauce and serve with lime wedges on the side.
