Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 250 grams
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Lemongrass - 1 stalk, finely chopped
  • Ground black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ground beef (kosher) - 200 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 150 grams
  • Fresh cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Fresh mint - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Chili sauce (sriracha) - 1 tablespoon
  • Carrot, julienned - 1 small
  • Vietnamese pickled daikon and carrots - 1/4 cup
  • Lime - 1, cut into wedges

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, chopped lemongrass, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Add the ground beef to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 30 cm in diameter.
  5. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Spread the marinated ground beef evenly over the pizza dough.
  7. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the beef.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  9. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a minute.
  10. Top the pizza with fresh cilantro, mint, julienned carrots, and pickled daikon and carrots.
  11. Drizzle with chili sauce and serve with lime wedges on the side.
