Steps

  1. Press the firm tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and chopped lemongrass to the pan, sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Carefully add the tofu cubes to the pan, frying them until they are golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Stir in the sliced red chili, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes to combine the flavors.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh coriander, and serve immediately.
