- Firm tofu - 200 grams
- Shiitake mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
- Button mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Press the firm tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into cubes.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the tofu cubes and sauté until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger, sautéing for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the sliced shiitake and button mushrooms to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until they are tender.
- Return the golden tofu to the skillet, then pour in the soy sauce, mixing everything well. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Finally, stir in the chopped green onions and remove from heat.
- Serve warm as a side dish.
