Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 200 grams
  • Shiitake mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
  • Button mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Press the firm tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into cubes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the tofu cubes and sauté until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger, sautéing for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced shiitake and button mushrooms to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until they are tender.
  5. Return the golden tofu to the skillet, then pour in the soy sauce, mixing everything well. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Finally, stir in the chopped green onions and remove from heat.
  7. Serve warm as a side dish.
