Ingredients

  • Fresh ginger - 50 grams
  • Water - 500 ml
  • Palm sugar - 30 grams
  • Coconut milk - 100 ml
  • Salt - a pinch

Steps

  1. Peel and thinly slice the fresh ginger.
  2. In a small pot, bring 500 ml of water to a boil.
  3. Once boiling, add the sliced ginger and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. After 10 minutes, add the palm sugar and a pinch of salt, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  5. Remove from heat and strain the ginger tea into two cups.
  6. Top each cup with 50 ml of coconut milk and serve warm or chilled.
