Ingredients

  • Green tea leaves - 2 teaspoons
  • Hot water - 500 ml
  • Fresh lemons - 2 (juiced)
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Ice cubes - 1 cup
  • Mint leaves - a handful (for garnish)
  • Lemon slices - for garnish

Steps

  1. Boil 500 ml of water and let it cool for about 5 minutes, then steep the green tea leaves in the hot water for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Remove the tea leaves and let the brewed tea cool to room temperature.
  3. In a mixing jug, combine the cooled tea, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and honey. Stir well until the honey is completely dissolved.
  4. Fill two glasses with ice cubes and pour the tea mixture over the ice.
  5. Garnish each glass with mint leaves and a slice of lemon before serving.
