Ingredients
- Pizza dough - 200 grams
- Firm tofu - 150 grams
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Green onions - 2, sliced
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
- Chili sauce - 1 tablespoon (optional)
- Rice vinegar - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Press the tofu between paper towels to remove excess moisture, then cut into cubes.
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and rice vinegar. Add the tofu cubes and marinate for 10 minutes.
- While the tofu marinates, roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 10 inches in diameter.
- Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Spread the marinated tofu evenly over the dough, followed by the sliced red bell pepper, julienned carrot, and green onions.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the vegetables.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
- Once done, remove from the oven and garnish with fresh cilantro and a drizzle of chili sauce if using.
- Slice and serve hot.
