  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh coriander - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Cooking oil - for grilling

Steps

  1. Slice the pork shoulder into thin strips, about 1 cm thick.
  2. In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, black pepper, sesame oil, lime juice, and chopped coriander.
  3. Add the pork strips to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated, and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
  4. Preheat your grill or barbecue to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grill grates.
  5. Remove the pork from the marinade, shaking off excess marinade, and place the strips on the grill.
