- Firm tofu - 200 grams
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Lemongrass - 1 stalk, finely chopped
- Ground black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Zucchini - 1 small, sliced
- Red onion - 1 small, sliced
- Fresh coriander - for garnish
Steps
- Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess water, then cut it into 1 cm thick slices.
- In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, vegetable oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, chopped lemongrass, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the tofu slices to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- While the tofu is marinating, preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Once marinated, place the tofu slices on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and slightly charred.
- In the last few minutes of grilling, add the sliced red bell pepper, zucchini, and red onion to the grill, cooking until they are tender and slightly caramelized.
- Remove the tofu and vegetables from the grill and arrange them on a serving plate.
- Garnish with fresh coriander before serving.
