- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh cilantro - 20 grams, chopped
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large
- Rice vermicelli - 100 grams, cooked
Steps
- Cut the pork shoulder into thin slices and place in a mixing bowl.
- In a separate bowl, combine minced garlic, chopped shallots, soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, black pepper, sesame oil, and lime juice to create the marinade.
- Pour the marinade over the pork slices and mix well to ensure even coating. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and brush it lightly with vegetable oil.
- Once hot, grill the marinated pork slices for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until cooked through and slightly charred.
- While the pork is grilling, prepare the rice vermicelli according to package instructions and set aside.
- To serve, place a portion of rice vermicelli on a plate, top with grilled pork, and garnish with fresh cilantro and lettuce leaves.
