  • Shallots (sliced) - 1 medium
  • Red chili (sliced) - 1 small
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Cooking oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Sugar - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lime - 1 (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Heat the cooking oil in a large frying pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sliced shallots to the pan and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until they turn pink and are cooked through.
  4. Stir in the sliced red chili, fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and black pepper, mixing well.
  5. Add the thiên lý flowers to the pan and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until they are wilted but still vibrant.
