Steps

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and chopped shallots to the pan, sautéing until fragrant and golden brown.
  3. Add the shrimp to the pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the tamarind paste, fish sauce, brown sugar, and sliced red chili.
