  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh cilantro (for garnish) - a handful

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine minced garlic, shallots, lemongrass, fish sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, black pepper, and vegetable oil to create the marinade.
  2. Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
