- Lobster - 2 whole (about 500g each)
- Butter - 100g
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Fresh coriander - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
- Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Carefully split the lobsters in half lengthwise and remove the tomalley (green substance) if desired.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in the coriander, lime juice, fish sauce, chili flakes, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and remove from heat.
- Place the lobster halves on the grill, flesh side up. Brush generously with the garlic butter mixture.
- Grill the lobster for about 8-10 minutes, basting occasionally with more garlic butter, until the flesh is opaque and cooked through.
- Remove from the grill and serve immediately, drizzling any remaining garlic butter over the top.
