Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 1 pre-made (about 250g)
  • Firm tofu - 200g
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sriracha sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100g, shredded
  • Red bell pepper - 1 small, sliced
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Fresh cilantro - a handful, chopped
  • Lime - 1, juiced
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Press the tofu to remove excess water, then cut it into cubes.
  3. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, Sriracha, and lime juice. Add the tofu cubes, and marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  4. After marinating, toss the tofu in cornstarch until evenly coated.
  5. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat.
  6. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and transfer to a pizza stone or baking tray.
  7. Spread a thin layer of Sriracha sauce over the dough, leaving a border for the crust.
  8. Evenly distribute the cooked tofu, sliced red bell pepper, and shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  9. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  11. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped green onions and cilantro before slicing.
