- Chicken breast - 200 grams, diced
- Shiitake mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
- Chicken broth - 500 ml
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a medium pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the diced chicken breast to the pot and cook until the chicken is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the sliced shiitake mushrooms and cook for another 3-4 minutes until they soften.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the soy sauce, salt, and black pepper to taste. Stir well.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and cilantro before serving.
