Ingredients
- Pork ribs - 500 grams
- Honey - 3 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Shallots - 2, minced
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
- Fresh cilantro - for garnish
Steps
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, minced shallots, black pepper, sesame oil, fish sauce, lime juice, and chili flakes to create the marinade.
- Place the pork ribs in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat your grill or BBQ to medium-high heat.
- Remove the ribs from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off. Reserve the marinade for basting.
- Grill the ribs for about 6-8 minutes on each side, basting with the reserved marinade every few minutes until the ribs are cooked through and have a nice char.
- Once done, remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
