Ingredients
- Pork ribs - 500 grams
- Fish sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Shallots - 2, minced
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon (optional)
- Fresh cilantro - for garnish
Steps
- In a large bowl, mix together fish sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, minced garlic, minced shallots, black pepper, sesame oil, lime juice, and chili flakes to create a marinade.
- Add the pork ribs to the marinade, ensuring they are completely coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2-4 hours for deeper flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the ribs from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off.
- Place the ribs on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, basting occasionally with the leftover marinade, until the ribs are nicely charred and cooked through.
- Once cooked, remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Serve the Sườn Nướng garnished with fresh cilantro and lime wedges on the side.
