Ingredients

  • Pork ribs - 500 grams
  • Fish sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Shallots - 2, minced
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, mix together fish sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, minced garlic, minced shallots, black pepper, sesame oil, lime juice, and chili flakes to create a marinade.
  2. Add the pork ribs to the marinade, ensuring they are completely coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2-4 hours for deeper flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the ribs from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off.
  4. Place the ribs on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, basting occasionally with the leftover marinade, until the ribs are nicely charred and cooked through.
  5. Once cooked, remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  6. Serve the Sườn Nướng garnished with fresh cilantro and lime wedges on the side.
