  • Mushrooms (shiitake or button) - 70 grams
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Oyster sauce (vegetarian) - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh cilantro (for garnish) - a handful

Steps

  1. Prepare all the vegetables by washing and cutting them into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the broccoli and carrots first, stir-frying for about 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
  5. Add the bell pepper, snow peas, and mushrooms to the skillet, continuing to stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until all the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  6. Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, then add black pepper and stir well to combine all the flavors.
  7. Drizzle with sesame oil and mix thoroughly.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
