  • Red chili (optional) - 1, sliced

Steps

  1. Wash the watercress thoroughly under running water, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Add the watercress to the pan, stirring gently to combine with the garlic.
  5. Drizzle the soy sauce over the watercress and season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Continue to stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the watercress is wilted but still vibrant green.
