  • Vietnamese coriander (rau răm) - 20 grams
  • Mint leaves - 20 grams
  • Basil leaves (Thai basil) - 20 grams
  • Cilantro (coriander) - 20 grams
  • Cucumber - 100 grams
  • Radish - 50 grams
  • Carrot - 50 grams
  • Lime - 1 medium
  • Fish sauce - 15 ml
  • Chili (fresh, optional) - 1 small

Steps

  1. Wash all the herbs (lettuce, Vietnamese coriander, mint, basil, cilantro) thoroughly under cold water and pat dry with a clean towel.
  2. Peel the cucumber and cut it into thin slices. Slice the radish and carrot into thin matchsticks.
  3. In a serving bowl, combine the lettuce leaves, Vietnamese coriander, mint, basil, and cilantro.
  4. Add the cucumber, radish, and carrot to the bowl, mixing gently to combine.
  5. In a small bowl, squeeze the juice of the lime and mix it with the fish sauce. If you like it spicy, finely chop the chili and add it to the dressing.
  6. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss everything lightly before serving.
