- Shrimp (peeled and deveined) - 150 grams
- Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce (low sodium) - 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Water - 50 ml
Steps
- Wash the Chinese broccoli thoroughly and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
- Stir in the Chinese broccoli pieces and add 50 ml of water to help steam the vegetables.
- Cover the pan and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the broccoli is tender but still crisp.
- Remove the lid and add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, and salt to taste.
- Stir everything together and cook for an additional minute to combine the flavors.
- Serve hot as a side dish.
