Ingredients

  • Mustard greens - 200 grams
  • Spinach - 100 grams
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Coconut oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Fish sauce (Paleo-friendly) - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili (optional) - 1, sliced

Steps

  1. Wash the mustard greens and spinach thoroughly under cold water and drain well.
  2. Heat the coconut oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Add the mustard greens and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they begin to wilt.
  5. Add the spinach and continue to stir-fry for another 2 minutes until the spinach is fully wilted and the greens are tender.
  6. Pour in the fish sauce and sprinkle the black pepper over the greens, stirring well to combine.
  7. If using, add the sliced red chili for a touch of heat and stir for an additional minute.
  8. Remove from heat and serve warm as a side dish.
