Steps
- Wash the mustard greens thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt or grit.
- In a pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil and add 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
- Once the water is boiling, add the mustard greens and blanch for about 2-3 minutes until they are bright green and tender.
- Using a slotted spoon, remove the greens and transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.
- After a minute in the ice water, drain the mustard greens and gently squeeze out the excess water.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, and fresh lime juice to create a dipping sauce.
- Serve the blanched mustard greens on a plate, accompanied by the dipping sauce.
