- Pizza dough - 200 grams
- Ground halal pork - 150 grams
- Shallots - 2, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
- Tomato sauce - 100 grams
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
- Lime - 1, cut into wedges
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a bowl, mix ground pork, chopped shallots, minced garlic, fish sauce, sugar, black pepper, and form small meatballs, about the size of a walnut.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the meatballs for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from heat.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly on the rolled-out pizza dough.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then arrange the cooked meatballs on top.
- Add chili flakes if desired, and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Once done, remove from the oven and garnish with chopped cilantro.
- Serve hot with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the pizza.
