- Tomato sauce - 100 grams
- Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
- Bell pepper (sliced) - 50 grams
- Mushrooms (sliced) - 50 grams
- Carrot (julienned) - 50 grams
- Fresh basil leaves - 10 grams
- Chili flakes - to taste
- Soy sauce - 10 ml
Steps
- In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- In a larger bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and olive oil.
- Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth. Cover it with a damp cloth and let it rise for 30 minutes in a warm place.
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a 12-inch circle on a floured surface.
- Place the rolled-out dough onto a pizza stone or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by bell pepper, mushrooms, and carrot.
- Drizzle soy sauce over the toppings and sprinkle chili flakes to taste.
- Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
