Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour - 200 grams
  • Warm water - 120 ml
  • Active dry yeast - 5 grams
  • Olive oil - 15 ml
  • Salt - 5 grams
  • Sugar - 5 grams
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
  • Bell pepper (sliced) - 50 grams
  • Mushrooms (sliced) - 50 grams
  • Carrot (julienned) - 50 grams
  • Fresh basil leaves - 10 grams
  • Chili flakes - to taste
  • Soy sauce - 10 ml

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a larger bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and olive oil.
  3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth. Cover it with a damp cloth and let it rise for 30 minutes in a warm place.
  4. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  5. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a 12-inch circle on a floured surface.
  6. Place the rolled-out dough onto a pizza stone or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  8. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by bell pepper, mushrooms, and carrot.
  9. Drizzle soy sauce over the toppings and sprinkle chili flakes to taste.
  10. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  11. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
