Ingredients
- Rice paper - 4 sheets
- Ground pork or chicken - 200 grams
- Carrot - 1 medium, grated
- Mushrooms - 100 grams, finely chopped
- Green onion - 2 stalks, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Fish sauce - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Tomato sauce - 100 grams
- Bell pepper - 1 small, sliced
- Fresh basil - a handful, chopped
- Cilantro - a handful, chopped
- Chili flakes - optional, to taste
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork or chicken, grated carrot, chopped mushrooms, green onion, minced garlic, soy sauce, fish sauce, and black pepper. Mix well and set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the meat mixture and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Prepare the rice paper by soaking each sheet in warm water for about 10-15 seconds until pliable. Lay them flat on a clean surface.
- Spread a tablespoon of tomato sauce onto each rice paper sheet, leaving some space around the edges.
- Add a portion of the cooked meat mixture on top of the tomato sauce, followed by sliced bell peppers, and sprinkle with fresh basil and cilantro.
- Carefully fold in the sides of the rice paper and roll tightly to form a pizza shape. Repeat for all sheets.
- In the same skillet, heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Place the rolled pizzas seam-side down and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
- Remove from heat, slice if desired, and serve hot with chili flakes sprinkled on top for extra spice.
