Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
- Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the onions, carrots, star anise, and cinnamon stick. Cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in the beef broth and fish sauce. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for 10-15 minutes until the beef is tender.
- Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh cilantro and sliced chili if desired, and slice to serve.
