- Oyster mushrooms - 200 grams
- Shiitake mushrooms - 100 grams
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce (vegetarian) - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- Cilantro - for garnish
Steps
- Clean the mushrooms under running water and pat them dry with a paper towel. Slice the oyster mushrooms into strips and the shiitake mushrooms into thin slices.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until they are tender and have released their moisture.
- Pour in the soy sauce and vegetarian oyster sauce, and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Stir well to combine for another 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and fold in the chopped green onions. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
