- Pork belly - 300 grams
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Shallots - 2, finely chopped
- Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon (or coconut aminos for keto)
- Erythritol or stevia - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Skewers - 4 (soaked in water if wooden)
Steps
- Cut the pork belly into 2 cm cubes and set aside.
- In a bowl, combine minced garlic, chopped shallots, fish sauce, soy sauce, erythritol, black pepper, lime juice, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
- Add the pork belly pieces to the marinade and mix well to coat. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat the grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated pork belly onto the soaked skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until the pork is cooked through and has a nice char.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
