Steps
- Soak the wood ear mushrooms in warm water for about 10 minutes until softened, then drain and slice them into strips.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the julienned carrot and sliced bell pepper to the pan, stirring frequently for about 3 minutes until they start to soften.
- Add the sliced wood ear mushrooms to the skillet, followed by the soy sauce and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
- Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, allowing the mushrooms to absorb the flavors and the vegetables to become tender.
