  • Fresh coriander (cilantro) - 10 grams, chopped
  • Roasted peanuts - 30 grams, crushed
  • Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Chili paste - 1 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste

Steps

  1. Start by preparing the young jackfruit; if using canned, rinse and drain it, then shred it into small pieces.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded jackfruit, julienned carrot, and cucumber.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice, soy sauce, chili paste, and sesame oil to create the dressing.
  4. Pour the dressing over the jackfruit mixture and toss gently to combine all the ingredients evenly.
  5. Add in the chopped mint and coriander, and mix well.
  6. Season with salt to taste, then let the mixture sit for 5 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  7. Serve the Mít Trộn in bowls, garnished with crushed roasted peanuts on top.
