  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Red chili - 1, sliced (optional)
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a pot, bring the chicken or vegetable broth to a simmer over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the broth and let it cook for about 5 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the fish sauce, salt, and black pepper to season the broth.
  4. Add the rice noodles to the pot and cook according to package instructions, usually about 4-5 minutes.
