Ingredients

  • Loofah squash - 300 grams
  • Garlic - 4 cloves
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Soy sauce (Kosher) - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 50 milliliters

Steps

  1. Wash the loofah squash thoroughly, then peel and cut it into thin slices, about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves.
  3. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  4. Add the chopped garlic to the oil and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  5. Add the sliced loofah squash to the skillet and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes tender.
  6. Season the mixture with salt, black pepper, and soy sauce, stirring well to combine.
  7. Pour in the water and continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well mixed and heated through.
  8. Remove from heat and serve warm as a side dish.
