- Loofah squash - 300 grams
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Soy sauce (Kosher) - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 50 milliliters
Steps
- Wash the loofah squash thoroughly, then peel and cut it into thin slices, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Add the chopped garlic to the oil and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Add the sliced loofah squash to the skillet and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes tender.
- Season the mixture with salt, black pepper, and soy sauce, stirring well to combine.
- Pour in the water and continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well mixed and heated through.
- Remove from heat and serve warm as a side dish.
