- Squid - 200 grams, cleaned and sliced
- Mushrooms (shiitake or button) - 150 grams, sliced
- Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Onion - 1 medium, sliced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped for garnish
- Lime - 1, cut into wedges
Steps
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, stir-frying for 2-3 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and continue to stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until they soften.
- Add the sliced squid to the pan, stirring quickly for about 2-3 minutes until the squid is opaque and cooked through.
- Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, mixing well to coat all the ingredients evenly.
- Season with black pepper and stir-fry for an additional minute.
- Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve with lime wedges on the side.
