  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Bell pepper - 1 small (about 100 grams), sliced
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped for garnish

Steps

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced onions and bell pepper to the pan, stirring frequently for about 3-4 minutes until they begin to soften.
  4. Increase the heat to high and add the sliced squid, stirring quickly for about 2-3 minutes until the squid turns opaque.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, and season with black pepper and salt. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  6. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, ensuring the squid is cooked through but still tender.
  7. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve immediately with steamed rice.
