- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped for garnish
Steps
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced onions and bell pepper to the pan, stirring frequently for about 3-4 minutes until they begin to soften.
- Increase the heat to high and add the sliced squid, stirring quickly for about 2-3 minutes until the squid turns opaque.
- Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, and season with black pepper and salt. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
- Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, ensuring the squid is cooked through but still tender.
- Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve immediately with steamed rice.
