  • Red chili - 1, sliced (adjust for spice preference)
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sugar - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lime - 1, for serving

Steps

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sliced red chili, stir-frying for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Increase the heat to high and add the sliced squid to the pan, cooking for about 2-3 minutes until they turn opaque.
  4. Add the chopped chives, fish sauce, soy sauce, black pepper, and sugar to the pan, stirring well to combine all ingredients.
  5. Continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the chives are vibrant but still crisp.
  6. Remove from heat and serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
