- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Red chili - 1, sliced (optional for spice)
- Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped for garnish
Steps
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger to the pan, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced squid to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they turn opaque.
- Stir in the sliced celery and red chili (if using), and continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the celery is tender yet crisp.
- Pour in the fish sauce, soy sauce, and black pepper, mixing well to coat all the ingredients.
- Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice before serving.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot with steamed rice.
