- All-purpose flour - 100 grams
- Cornstarch - 50 grams
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and turmeric powder.

- Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat, enough to submerge the squid rings (about 3-4 cm deep).
- Dip the cleaned squid rings into the batter, ensuring they are fully coated.
- Carefully place the battered squid into the hot oil, frying in batches to avoid overcrowding.
- Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until the squid is golden brown and crispy, then remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with a side of dipping sauce, such as sweet chili sauce or a lime-infused sauce.
