  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh cilantro (for garnish) - a handful

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, shallots, chopped red chili, Vietnamese chili paste, lime juice, fish sauce, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the cleaned squid to the marinade, ensuring it is well-coated. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
