  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, shallots, chopped bird's eye chili, salt, black pepper, sugar, fish sauce, lime juice, and vegetable oil to create a marinade.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
