- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh cilantro - for garnish
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, shallots, chopped bird's eye chili, salt, black pepper, sugar, fish sauce, lime juice, and vegetable oil to create a marinade.
- Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
