Ingredients
- Chicken thighs - 400 grams, boneless and skinless
- Soy sauce - 30 ml (low sodium)
- Fish sauce - 15 ml
- Oyster sauce - 15 ml (optional for extra flavor)
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Shallots - 2, finely chopped
- Five-spice powder - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Honey or Erythritol - 1 teaspoon (for sweetness, optional)
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh cilantro - for garnish
- Oil - for grilling (coconut or olive oil)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, minced garlic, chopped shallots, five-spice powder, black pepper, honey or erythritol, and lemon juice to make the marinade.

- Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting any excess drip off. Grill the chicken thighs for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and juices run clear.
- Once cooked, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Serve the chicken garnished with fresh cilantro and enjoy with a side of steamed vegetables or a green salad for a complete low-carb meal.
