- Chicken thighs - 400 grams
- Lemongrass - 2 stalks, minced
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Coconut aminos - 2 tablespoons
- Honey - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a bowl, combine minced lemongrass, garlic, fish sauce, coconut aminos, honey, black pepper, cilantro, lime juice, and olive oil to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off.
- Grill the chicken thighs for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F) and have nice grill marks.
- Once cooked, remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Serve the Gà Nướng with fresh herbs and a wedge of lime on the side.
