- Red onion - 1/4, thinly sliced
- Roasted peanuts - 30 grams, crushed

Steps
- Thinly slice the beef tenderloin against the grain into very fine strips.
- In a bowl, combine lime juice, fish sauce, sugar, minced garlic, and sliced chili to make the marinade.
- Add the beef to the marinade and let it sit for about 10 minutes to tenderize and absorb the flavors.
- While the beef is marinating, prepare the vegetables: julienne the cucumber and carrot, slice the red onion, and chop the mint and cilantro.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the marinated beef, cucumber, carrot, red onion, mint, and cilantro.
- Toss the salad gently to combine all ingredients evenly.
- Serve the salad on a plate, garnished with crushed roasted peanuts and a sprinkle of black pepper.
