  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, sugar, and sesame oil to create a marinade.
  2. Add the sliced beef sirloin to the marinade, mix well, and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. While the beef is marinating, cook the rice vermicelli noodles according to package instructions, then drain and rinse under cold water.
  4. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the marinated beef for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the cooked vermicelli noodles, julienned carrot, cucumber, fresh mint, and cilantro.
