Gà Hấp Hành

Ingredients
- Chicken thighs - 300 grams
- Green onions - 100 grams
- Ginger - 10 grams, sliced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Soy sauce - 30 ml
- Fish sauce - 15 ml
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 500 ml
- Lime - 1, for serving
Steps
- Prepare the chicken thighs by cleaning and trimming any excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, fish sauce, black pepper, and minced garlic to create a marinade.
- Add the chicken thighs to the marinade and let it sit for about 15 minutes.
- While the chicken is marinating, slice the green onions and ginger.
- In a steaming pot, bring water to a boil and place a steaming basket over it.
- Layer half of the sliced green onions and ginger at the bottom of the steaming basket.
- Place the marinated chicken thighs on top of the green onions and ginger.
- Top the chicken with the remaining green onions and ginger.
- Cover the pot and steam the chicken for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 75°C.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Drizzle sesame oil over the sliced chicken and serve with lime wedges.
