Ingredients

  • Soy chicken - 200 grams
  • Lemongrass - 2 stalks, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Green bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Onion - 1 medium, sliced
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. Prepare the soy chicken by slicing it into thin strips and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine the chopped lemongrass, minced garlic, soy sauce, and black pepper. Add the soy chicken strips and marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the marinated soy chicken to the wok and stir-fry for about 5 minutes, until lightly browned.
  5. Add the sliced onions, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, and carrot to the wok. Stir-fry for another 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Remove from heat.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
