- Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- Fish sauce (kosher) - 1 tablespoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh dill - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Green onions - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Rice vermicelli noodles - 100 grams
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large leaves
- Lime wedges - 1 lime
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the fish fillets with turmeric, salt, black pepper, minced garlic, and fish sauce. Marinate for 15 minutes.
- While the fish is marinating, cook the rice vermicelli noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated fish and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until cooked through and golden.
- Once the fish is cooked, add the chopped dill and green onions to the skillet, stirring gently to combine for another 2 minutes.
- To serve, place a portion of the vermicelli noodles on a plate, top with the fish and herb mixture, and serve with lettuce leaves and lime wedges on the side.
