- Green onion - 2 stalks, finely chopped
- Fresh coriander - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lettuce leaves - 4, for serving
- Lime - 1, cut into wedges
- Chili sauce - for serving, optional
Steps
- In a food processor, combine the shrimp, fish sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and white pepper. Blend until a smooth paste forms.
- Transfer the shrimp mixture to a bowl and mix in the rice flour, chopped green onions, and fresh coriander until well combined.
- Wet your hands with water and form small patties (about 5 cm in diameter) with the shrimp mixture.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly oil it. Cook the shrimp patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the patties from the skillet and serve them hot on a bed of lettuce leaves with lime wedges and chili sauce on the side.
