- Glutinous rice flour - 100 grams
- Water - 150 ml
- Coconut milk - 100 ml
- Sugar - 30 grams
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Mung beans (cooked and mashed) - 50 grams
- Sesame seeds (toasted) - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the glutinous rice flour and water, stirring until a smooth dough forms.
- Divide the dough into small pieces and shape them into round balls, about 2 cm in diameter.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and gently drop the dough balls into the boiling water.
- Cook the balls until they float to the surface, which takes about 5-7 minutes, then remove them and set aside.
- In a saucepan, combine the coconut milk, sugar, and salt, heating gently until the sugar dissolves.
- In serving bowls, place a few of the cooked dough balls, add a spoonful of the mashed mung beans, and pour the coconut milk mixture over the top.
- Garnish with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
