- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a bowl, combine minced garlic, chopped shallots, lemongrass, fish sauce, lime juice, chili flakes, black pepper, salt, and olive oil to create a marinade.
- Place the catfish fillets in the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Once the grill is hot, place the marinated catfish fillets on the grill. Cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side or until the fish is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- Remove the catfish from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro and green onions before serving.
